Bar Harbor was booked so we ended up in Penobscot and how fortunate for us that we did. From our charming, gregarios hosts Gerry and Dawn to the superbly, scrumptious gourmet breakfasts to the beautifully decorated home and room our stay was wonderful. We were provided w/maps, directions, restaurant recommendations and elegant surroundings. We even got to meet the resident pets. As I was making myself toast this morning, I found myself reminiscing about your fresh-squeezed juice, asparagus strata, and honey cake. Breakfast was certainly the highlight of our stay, but the comfortable room and great value ensure that we'll stay with you again if we come back to the Blue Hill Peninsula. The info on their website is an understatement. The house and all rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. The breakast is on par with the best I've ever had including Brennans. And best of all is the hospitality and service. The Brass Fox is a great place to stay and a great value too! We're going back in 2 months and I can't wait. Kudos to Dawn and Gerry. |

We both agree that so far as we are concerned, you may serve that quiche to us any time. It was truly really, really good (all your breakfasts are, but this one hit our taste buds especially).
